WWW Is a Job Hunter's Friend
In my youth when I first set out for a job, I had to do lots of things. The first was to buy a paper and take a look at the classifieds. I'd cut out two or three ads from the paper and look at the requirements. I'd print out a set of resumes to fulfill their requirements, then I would have to have my picture taken as they would need several photos for their files. The follwoing day, I take the bus and travel ten miles to submit my resume. When I get to the first employer, they tell me to go home and wait for a call for an interview schedule. Good thing I brought along the other two sets which meant that I could go to another employer. I got luckier here because they interviewed me right away. After the interview, they say wait for them to call me at home as they will schedule a test for me. Then I go to the third and get no luckier than I was with the first two. So I go home and wait. Interviews and tests are scheduled on three separate days. So I went to all of them. It would have been a wasted opportunity if I hadn't. To cut a long story short, not one of them hired me.

A lot of people ususally are not satisfied with the company they are working for. Most of this stems from the fact that most people did not get the job they wanted. The best favor you can do for yourself and the company is to look for that job you like and move on. Before you tell me how hard it is to run around submitting applications. Let me tell you about one word. Internet. The most efficient way to look for a job is by using the internet. This is so because information on different databases are catalogued by the computer. If someone asks for where Timbuktu is, the internet can, and most probably will point you in the right direction. One more thing, since all you need to look for that dream job is by using the internet through a computer, you don't really have to absent yourself from work to run wild in the city.
